Audubon Zoo

Perplexed where to take your kids for an educational trip? Go to the Audubon Zoo. One of the best zoos in U.S, it is a home to some 2,000 animals. The zoo offers a wide array of exhibits, including the endangered species carousel, the Jaguar jungle, the White Tigers (who are brothers and each weigh 380 pounds), Komodo Dragon, Gorillas and the Monkey hill along with many other exhibits. The Endangered Species Carousel is a colorful addition to Audubon Zoo.

How about interacting with the animals and making them your friends? You can have loads of fun with Elephants and Sea Lions as well. The refreshing vivacity in the zoo confirms the fact that life is beautiful. The zoo has animals from world over ranging from the unique white alligators to the extraordinary white tigers.

There are live animal presentations at the Shell's Wildlife Amphitheater, and hands- on encounters with a variety of animals at Discovery Walk and the Embraceable Zoo.The zoo is encompassed within lush green landscape- the Children's Zoo area, which now hosts birthday parties in the historic WPA- era building.
