Razzoo Club and Patio

There are several bars on Bourbon Street that are indistinguishable from one another after several drinks. This bar separates itself from the others with an incredible back courtyard, ample seating and live music that is usually pretty good. While the musicians may be playing covers like Brown- Eyed Girl or Margaritaville, their skills are always evident.
Located in the heart of Bourbon Street, Razzoo is the tourist's dance club. Below its red neon sign, employees stand with posters advertising drink specials. Inside, two bars straddle a medium- sized dance floor, while the front reveals a bandstand with a drum set prominently displayed in the window.
Razzoo is ground zero for flocks of 20- and 30- somethings looking for a rousing good time in the French Quarter. Crowds pour in from the street day and night- - this bar is one of the first to fill and last to empty as Bourbon Street ebbs and flows.

Three bars offer typical well and call drinks, as well as specialty concoctions like hurricanes, at tourist prices. Groups gather around the flaming fountain or the beer tubs in the back spatio to gain a little more personal space. Human traffic jams, which are not always unappealing, in the club's front section are a common occurrence.
