This French antique shop began in Paris, but relocated to New Orleans more than a century ago. A family- owned gallery, it has an international reputation for collecting and selling quality antiques. Its extensive inventory of lighting, furniture, chairs, mirrors and objects of beauty are drawn from both the 18th and 19th centuries. Pieces are taken from such periods as those of Louis XV, Louis XVI, the Third Empire and Napoleon III. Gold leaf mirrors hang over marble tables that display marble statues. All are lit by bronze and crystal chandeliers fit for a king's castle.

In the French Quarter everything is different and everything is the same. On August 29, 2005, Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans and the region. The French Quarter, the historic heart of the city, suffered wind and rain damage but no significant flooding. After clean- up and refurbishment, hotels, restaurants, shops, historic homes, museums, attractions, bars and clubs are back in service and patrons and visitors are back on the streets of the old Quarter.
A mule- drawn carriage, the smells of Cajun restaurants and the sounds of jazz greet you as you enter the boundaries of the French Quarter in New Orleans. This world- famous neighborhood produces feelings of true romance and nostalgia, and is so pleasing to each of the senses that you can't help getting completely caught up in its charm.
