Arnaud's Restaurant is the ideal place to go to if you wish to have a romantic evening out. Arnaud has been one of New Orleans' most acclaimed and popular landmark restaurants for over 80 years. In 1978 the restaurant was acquired by Archie and Jane Casbarian and restored to its original splendor.
Its highly ornate interior entices you. The refurnished mosaic tile floor, antique fans remind you of the early 20th Century.
Arnaud's flavors are praiseworthy including the mouthwatering the Shrimp Arnaud in remoulade sauce, the Oyster Stew and the Beef Wellington and the favorite for dessert is the fine Creme Brulee.
Starters include traditional oyster soup and mushrooms Veronique (mushrooms stuffed with grapes and Boursin cheese). Entrees run the gamut from Creole crab cakes to sauteed sweetbreads with port- cream reduction and crawfish tails.
