New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival

Considered to be one of the world's greatest cultural celebrations, this annual 10- day event draws more than 300,000 people to listen to thousands of well- known musicians such as Fats Domino and Willie Nelson.

This is a non- profit corporation organized in 1970 to promote, preserve, perpetuate and encourage the music, arts, culture and heritage. In order to accomplish these goals, the Foundation presents an annual event, the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival. The Festival is another step to the city's recovery from Hurricane Katrina. This Fest makes it a popular destination for its visitors.

The annual festival is held at the Fair Grounds Race Course from on each of its six days with artists appearing on multiple stages at the same time. In addition to the fabulous variety of great music, this event is known for its Food Fair presenting a variety of cuisines of international standards. Anytime is a good time to enjoy New Orleans. Experience the uniqueness in its culture, food and above all music.
