The New Orleans Jazz And Heritage Festival

The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, also known as the JazzFest, is a celebration of the musical genres that became associated with the city of New Orleans, such as blues, gospel music, R&B, Cajun music, bluegrass, and many others. It is held every year, traditionally on the last weekend of April and the first weekend of May.

The New Orleans Mardi Gras

The New Orleans Carnival season starts on the sixth of January until Ash Wednesday. Two weeks before Fat Tuesday (Mardi Gras), at least one major parade goes through the city. Revelers can go about the street wearing costumes. The Mardi Gras of New Orleans is one of the most popular Carnival celebrations in the whole world.
