The New Orleans Ballet Association's performs classics such as "Alice in Wonderland" and "Swan Lake".

Regular performances include the Paul Taylor Pace Company, Dance Theatre of Harlem and Ballet Folklorico de Mexico. All performances are held at the Mahalia Jackson Theatre of the Performing Arts in Louis Armstrong Park. After each performance, artistic directors and company members discuss their work with audience members.

Being the region's premiere dance service organization it has a mission to cultivate understanding, appreciation, and enjoyment of dance through performance, education and community service. They annually reach more than 50,000 people throughout the Gulf Region with more than 3,000 concerts, classes, and workshops.

The Center operates year- round, with a multi- tiered dance program that includes after- school and Saturday classes, a summer dance camp called Footbridge (by audition) and summer Twilight camps held at all participating NORD Centers.
