Contemporary Arts Center

Conveniently located in a renovated warehouse, this modern art exhibit center is the heart of the New Orleans' art community. It offers exhibitions, classes, lectures, performances, screenings and concerts every year.

The exhibits waver between traditional and alternative art forms with works from both local and national artists.

They are proud to launch a new music series, The Music of New Orleans, which puts the spotlight on the music and artists that make New Orleans such a vibrant community. They yearn that you will be able to join them for one of those upcoming concerts.

The Arts center presents an impressive array of programs encompassing the visual arts, music, dance and drama, all celebrating the arts of the time. Rotating visual arts exhibitions are displayed in a 10,000- square- foot space, filled with natural light.

The Theatre gives an access to the local and regional performers. Live performances might feature a swinging Big Band concert, hip contemporary music or outstanding jazz.
