The Metropolitan

The Metropolitan can be said to be rather different from the other New Orleans cafes and lounges because of its name which connotes a stodgy conservative business crowd rather than a wild party-goers fantasy. The Metropolitan also stays open only on Saturdays up to dawn on Sunday the next day, so if you are the type who only likes staying put in one place on Saturday nights, The Metropolitan might be the place for you.

Sazerac Bar & Grill

Most New Orleans cafes and lounges will probably serve you light food as you sip your comfort beverage in their premises. But if liquor makes up your comfort beverage, what's a better accompaniment to that but a steak professionally cooked for you by the master chef of the house? Sazerac Bar & Grill does serve steaks, and martinis are recommended as the drink of choice. Look for this place in the Fairmont Hotel.
