Established in 1968, the Whisnant Galleries is a cultural jewel encompassed within 12,000 sq. feet area. The Galleries house a unique collection of ethnic tribal jewelry, Louis XVI furniture, textile, and Impressionist masterpieces.
Visits to the Whisnant Galleries reveal a treasure of the works of various artists. Among its celebrated 800 masterworks, 17th- century oil paintings to unique estate jewelry are on view.
The museum occupies art collection furniture: African, Asian, and Oceanic objects; and a collection of ethnic jewelry of United States.
