It can be a challenge to find car parking in New Orleans. There are many parking garages, there are simply more cars in, around and passing through the city then there are parking spaces. If you park on the street you have to carefully read all of the parking signs as they vary from section to section of town. A lot of garages offer early bird discounts where, before 9 am, you can leave your car parked all day for the same price as it would be for one hour if you got there any later.

Ah, the exotic Cajun cooking of a restaurant in New Orleans. They definitely have their own flare and style. You take a little bit of French and then you mix in a little bit of southern cooking add a little bit Indian and a little Mexican, then you throw a bunch of spices in and you have the pride and joy of New Orleans. Of course you can get just about any type of food in just about any type of restaurant in New Orleans, but if you are going to visit then you should at least try some gumbo.
